Privacy notice
Short version: we collect as little as possible, and we don't track you.

No tracking cookies or analytics
This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, analytics tools or social media plug-ins. It doesn't load anything from other companies' servers – fonts, images and scripts all come from this site.
The career matcher
The skills, hobbies and preferences you choose in the matcher are not stored. They are used to work out your results – in your browser, or on our server if JavaScript is switched off – and they appear in the page address so you can bookmark or share your results. Anyone you share that link with will see the same choices.
Server logs
Like almost every website, the server that hosts this site keeps standard access logs. These record things such as your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, and your browser type. We use them only to keep the site secure and working, not to identify or profile visitors.
Links to other websites
When you click a link to another website, it goes through a short redirect on our site (an address starting with /go/). We count these clicks by recording the date and time, which link was clicked and which of our pages it was on. We don't record your IP address or anything else about you in these counts. Once you arrive on another website, its own privacy policy applies.
If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you, and we don't keep correspondence longer than we need to.
Forms
The site has no forms that collect personal information. The matcher and career filters only change the page address.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct or delete it. Contact us at hello@skillsandhobbies.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
